You are very lucky to be able to obtain the coaching/pro shop services of Eric and Don McCune. They have many years of experience and success on the PBA National Tour, and an immeasurable knowledge of the game. Don is an 8-time PBA champion and was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 1991. Don is also very well known worldwide as the inventor of the "soaker" bowling ball back in the early 70's. Don found that by soaking a polyester ball in a certain chemical (MEK - Methyl Ethyl Ketone), it would soften the ball and allow the ball to hook more. This led to rules which mandated the minimum hardness of bowling balls and was the start of the "hooking game" as we know it today.
Coach Duffy says
"If I can't help you, I suck.....If Eric or Don can't, you probably do.
If your ball hooks too much or too little, blame Don."
